A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Transactions Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing public and private companies private equity sponsors investors and entrepreneurs in sophisticated corporate transactions.

36 years of corporate transactional experience

Experience with mergers & acquisitions private equity transactions joint ventures strategic investments and general corporate matters

Experience representing public companies private companies private equity sponsors or strategic investors preferred

Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements operating agreements shareholder agreements joint venture agreements and related transaction documents

Experience managing transaction workstreams and coordinating with clients opposing counsel and other advisors

Strong drafting negotiation analytical and communication skills

Ability to work directly with clients and assume significant responsibility

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Sophisticated corporate transactions platform

Exposure to complex domestic and cross-border transactions

Significant client interaction and responsibility
