A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Transactions Associate to join its highly regarded Atlanta office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on sophisticated mergers & acquisitions private equity strategic transactions and general corporate matters within one of the nations premier corporate practices.

Mergers & acquisitions transactions
Private equity acquisitions and investments
Strategic corporate transactions
Corporate governance and business counseling
Transaction structuring and due diligence
Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and ancillary transaction documents
Direct client interaction and substantive deal responsibility
Collaboration with a nationally recognized corporate team

Approximately 34 years of corporate transactional experience
Significant experience with M&A transactions required
Experience representing private equity sponsors strategic buyers sellers or portfolio companies is a plus
Strong drafting and negotiation skills involving acquisition agreements and transaction documents
Excellent analytical communication and interpersonal skills
Strong academic credentials
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted in Georgia
