What You Will Do
  • Lead in-court restructuring processes including Chapter 11 proceedings and related motions.
  • Prepare and support briefing for hearings ensuring comprehensive documentation.
  • Manage plan and disclosure statement workstreams to facilitate effective restructuring outcomes.
  • Navigate restructuring-related disputes and contested issues with strategic precision.
  • Execute distressed transactions through the bankruptcy process including overseeing sale processes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams integrating finance M&A litigation and tax expertise on distressed transactions.
  • Drive negotiated restructurings and workouts focusing on liability management transactions and covenant relief.
Ideal Candidate Background
  • 36 years of experience in corporate restructuring or related legal fields.
  • Proven proficiency in both in-court and out-of-court restructuring processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on high-stakes negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills capable of articulating complex legal concepts clearly.
Preferred
  • Experience with distressed transaction execution and strategic alternatives.
  • Familiarity with liability management transactions including exchange/tender processes.
  • Background in cross-disciplinary collaboration within a legal or financial context.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $365K to $435K with a competitive benefits package that supports both professional growth and personal well-being.
