Corporate Communications Associate (Hybrid Birmingham)

Job Summary
Maintain the enterprise editorial calendar and coordinate content inputs reviews approvals and publication.
Support enterprise announcements employee campaigns leadership communications and All Company Town Hall content.
Partner with teams across the company to gather information and develop clear audience-focused communications.
Draft supporting materials such as key messages FAQs leader notes Indigo articles and presentations.
Track channel and content performance and support recurring communications reporting.
Provide content and project support for executive change reputation crisis and external communications as assigned.
Contribute to team planning cross-training and business continuity.

Strong writing editing and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Curiosity learning agility and willingness to work across communications disciplines.
Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Journalism Marketing or related field required.
1-3 years of experience in communications journalism public relations marketing or related experience preferred.
Strong writing skills required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with teammates business partners and senior leaders.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Team player who enjoys collaborating with others and building strong working relationships.
Strong skills in Canva or another visual content creation platform preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Word PowerPoint and Outlook
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Driven proactive and goals-oriented.
Experience with intranet publishing newsletters content management systems or employee communications preferred.
Experience interpreting communications metrics and analytics preferred.
Financial services or insurance industry experience is a plus.
