Corporate Associate

Angott Search Group is partnering with a dynamic midsized national law firm in the search for a Corporate Associate with 35 years of corporate experience to join its growing and highly collaborative Corporate Practice Group.

About the Practice

The Corporate Practice Group represents middle-market companies private equity funds family businesses and entrepreneurs in a wide range of transactional and governance matters. The firm handles M&A transactions ranging from $10 million to $1 billion across diverse industries including food & beverage industrial manufacturing professional services cannabis and more.

The work includes complex acquisitions divestitures ESOP transactions joint ventures restructurings complex commercial agreements private offerings and general corporate counseling.

Experience:

• Private company mergers and acquisitions corporate governance commercial contracts disclosure schedules LLC/shareholder agreements and advising middle-market companies on general corporate matters.
• Knowledge of private equity sophisticated M&A transactions and private securities offerings is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with specialist teams organize transaction checklists drive multiple deal workstreams and conduct efficient and thorough due diligence.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
