A typical Work Day May Include:
- Managing end-to-end truck operationsrelated to inbound corn receiving activitiesby coordinating all areasand personnelinvolved to ensure each truck is processed efficiently and safely from arrival to departure. This includes monitoring and actively communicating withmerchants andoperations teams to provide fast organized and high-quality service to our customers
- Responsible for corn truck identification management (RFID barcode system)
- Monitor official weighing and grading certificates ensuring accuracy and completeness while investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Grain storage management: Daily monitoring of grain bin levels temperature and quality.
- Perform all work following Cargill safety and food safety policies ensure we maintain a sanitary work area for all internal and external customers. Monitor truck traffic and drivers for safe working practices throughout the corn receiving process. Must enforce Cargill policy for corn receiving and address safety concerns miscellaneous job-related duties asrequired including operator-based maintenance cleaning of area and equipment
What You Will Need:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bendingliftingup to30lbskneeling climbing and twisting with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications basic keyboarding and accurate data entry
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work overtime weekends and holidays with advance notice
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Experience with inventory systems
- Experience working in a production or plant environment
