Job Summary

Overview

This role is based in Princeton NJ and will require the candidates presence in the office three days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all aspects of copyright registration process for a division of the Company including ordering books for registration collecting information necessary to file forms with the US Copyright Office maintaining accurate reporting records of registrations coordinating with editorial production and other teams as necessary to ensure proper registration and other tasks associated with the registration process.
  • Various responsibilities as part of a team responsible for updating and maintaining Companys Title Management System.
  • Perform administrative duties for Legal and Contract departments including organizing creating maintaining and inputting data into databases and spreadsheets.
  • Refer or respond to general inquiries regarding contracts and other matters.
  • Review and process payments and any changes to payments
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in maintaining files
  • Publishing company experience and knowledge of book contracts and copyrights a plus
  • Detail oriented; focus on organization; able to maintain extensive tracking records; self-starter able to balance multiple high-level tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. under qualifications
