The Position
Reservoir is seeking a Synch & Creative Coordinator based in Los Angeles to support its Synch and Creative team. The role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities.
Curate and maintain Spotify playlists strategically crafted for music supervisors.
Build organize and refine playlists and samplers in DISCO Reservoirs primary music management and delivery platform.
Format and prepare project-specific samplers and outbound pitch materials for film TV advertising and trailer opportunities.
Ingest audio files for new signings and new releases from existing clients.
Prepare metadata spreadsheets for DISCO import and ensure alignment with established standards.
Assist in researching new tools and technologies to improve Synch team workflows.
Verify audio completeness and metadata accessibility for catalog signings.
Collaborate with the Synch and A&R teams to maintain a streamlined and accessible music library.
Complete monthly expense reports for the EVP Global Head Synch Marketing.
Provide administrative support to the Los Angeles and New York creative teams and assist in various aspects of administrative publishing and creative processes.
Complete monthly expense reports for the EVP Global Creative Director.
Assist with meeting scheduling across the LA Creative team.
Create DISCO playlists for creative pitches.
Update and maintain creative materials such as the internal and shareable roster sheets.
Update roster Spotify playlists with weekly new releases.
Assist with company event coordination in Los Angeles.
Coordinate LA Performances ticket buys.
Provide internal Billboard Chart coverage when the primary chart liaison is out of office.
Serve as the first point of contact for guests ensuring a welcoming and seamless visitor experience from arrival through departure.
Maintain organized tidy and welcoming common areas throughout the day including the lobby conference rooms and kitchen.
Manage general kitchen upkeep including loading running and emptying the dishwasher on a regular schedule.
Keep office supplies snacks and backstock organized and stored appropriately.
Reset shared spaces after use including tidying furniture removing trash and turning off equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong interest in music publishing and the broader music and entertainment industries.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail particularly when working with music assets metadata spreadsheets and other catalog information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel; experience with DISCO or similar music asset management and delivery platforms is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across a small team and multiple departments.
Proactive and resourceful with the ability to anticipate needs take initiative and follow projects through to completion.
