Job Summary
The Emma Eccles Jones College of Education Health and Human Sciences seeks a highly professional and experienced Coordinator to work in a team-based environment. This position requires a high level of confidentiality. The successful candidate will support the Office of Accreditation and Undergraduate Studies coordinate Utah State Board of Education licensure for programs educator preparation program permissions college undergraduate and graduate commencements and supports college recruitment.

Program Coordination
- Assist in the coordination of advising activities.
- Coordinate recruiting activities.
- Serve as recording secretary for Council on Teacher Education (CTE).
- Assist in the implementation and coordination of CEHHS student- alumni- and community-facing events.
Licensing Officer
- Develops and implements college procedures for licensing application processing and make recommendations within the State of Utah system USIMS.
- Regularly download licensing exam scores from Pearson EdReports and Educational Testing Services; verify and record scores for licensing exams in eGrad.
- Collaborate with Database Administrator on state and federal annual reports for USBE and Title II.
Program Admissions and Degree Conferrals
- Routinely exercise judgment and make decisions affecting tasks and procedures for conferral of all undergraduate degrees in CEHHS.
- Validate data prior to closeout of undergraduate degrees in registrars office.
CEHHS Commencement Coordinator
- Make decisions affecting tasks and procedures for two commencement ceremonies undergraduate and graduate.
- Provide content style and information for CEHHS and USU commencement websites.
- Provide accurate list of students graduating both undergrad and graduate for commencement program.
- Coordinate with GPCs and advisors to ensure all students are included in program and ceremony.
Minimum Qualifications
Six years of experience; or an associate degree plus four years of experience; or a bachelors degree plus two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education plus experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the State of Utahs educator licensing system.
- Knowledge of the State of Utahs educator licensing policies and procedures.
- Experience with eGrad database.
- Experience with USUs Banner system Degree Works Argos Box.
- High level of competence with Excel.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Proficient computer skills using programs such as Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint etc.
- Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills including spelling grammar and letter writing; excellent proofreading skills.
- Records maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of supplies equipment and/or services ordering and inventory control.
- Database management skills.
- Knowledge of office management principles and procedures.
- Ability to foster effective working relationships within a team environment.
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
- Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events.
- Knowledge of communication principles media and marketing techniques.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
- Field specific knowledge skills and abilities as described in recruitment notice.
