Job Summary
The Coordinator of High School Programs and Services coordinates the provision of enrollment services for dual credit programs to include program recruitment student admission and registration and transition activities. Supervises assigned staff.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Provides support to the Director of High School Programs college initiatives. Supervises various aspects of the enrollment process for dual credit programs including high school relations student admission and registration and matriculation of dual credit students at Texas Southmost College. Creates and maintains recruitment events and activities at local middle schools and high schools to promote dual credit programs to students and parents. Oversees College Navigators daily operations including their assigned time at ISDs. Trains and onboards all College Navigators. Holds semester trainings in preparation for registration dates each semester. Must be willing to travel regularly throughout the Rio Grande Valley ( RGV ) service area using reliable personal transportation to assist College Navigators and work in collaboration with ISD Counselors. Collaborates with the Office of Records to create all sections for dual programs following the departments procedures Collaborates with partnering ISDs to facilitate dual enrollment student applications and registration processes for College Navigator and adheres to registration admissions and program policies and procedures as they relate to the dual enrollment programs and populations. Plans supports and/or executes partner engagement activities including tours career exploration events and camps as required. Assists with the development implementation and monitoring of related policies and standard operating procedures in collaboration with the college Student Services department. Validates accuracy of data in the CRM System runs reports and identifies areas of improvement for the college transition team. Coordinates with IT to facilitate constant updated reports for College Navigators Coordinates the College Navigators with the processing of admission documentation for dual credit students. Creates academic calendar with important dates to share with ISD . Creates communication plan for dual program students in Salesforce. Assists with the establishment of goals and objectives in support of the strategic plan for the Strategic Enrollment department. Assists in the budget development for the High School Programs and Services office. Assists in the development of the program outcomes for the High School Programs and Services office monitors assessment of those outcomes and develops plans of action for improvement based on the assessment of those outcomes. Maintains awareness of best practices emerging trends and new legislation relating to Admissions and Records department. Remains aware of and communicates changes in admissions standards college placement tests curriculum prerequisites degree requirements and restrictions and exceptions for transfer students. Maintains the integrity of the student database to ensure accuracy of records for local state and federal reporting; ensures compliance with requirements of external regulator and accrediting agencies. Assists in researching analyzing and resolving student disputes as they relate to records and registration. Assists with preparation and production of commencement and other college events as assigned. Participates in the process for systematic review and evaluation per the institutional effectiveness model adopted by the college. Attends the workplace regularly reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite. Working hours may include evenings holidays or weekends depending on deadline requirements and special events. Completes duties and responsibilities in compliance with college standards policies and guidelines. Uses interpersonal skills and makes sound judgments to decide how duties and responsibilities are completed between coworkers the supervisory chain faculty staff students and customers. Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored by Texas Southmost College. Supports the values and institutional goals as defined in the Colleges Strategic Plan. Promotes positive morale and teamwork within the department and provides exceptional customer service to students faculty staff and community. Serves on committees as appropriate and as appointed by supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned.
