GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Framingham State University has a new strategic goal of ensuring that all students have access to experiential learning opportunities before they graduate. That will only be possible with strong support of internships and a robust tracking methodology. The Coordinator for Internship Operations role is an opportunity to support students staff and faculty as we pursue this goal in search of great career equity and economic mobility for our students.

The Coordinator for Internship Operations is responsible for facilitating enhancing and maintaining experiential learning and internship efforts across campus. This person will also oversee internship opportunities for FSU students manage data related to student outcomes and regularly advise students on career topics as well as oversee the Career Champion program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration Counseling Student Personnel or related field with graduate student experience.
  • 2 years of successful professional level experience in a career services or academic counselor higher education setting.
  • Preference of cultural competency student development theory and practice knowledge.
  • Knowledge of human resource management and state/federal guidelines regarding internships is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Handshake Banner and Microsoft Office suite.

This is a full-time exempt benefits-eligible position in the Association of Professional Administrators (APA) bargaining unit with a union title of Coordinator for Internship Operations. The starting salary range is $.
