Job Summary
Located 20km west of Sydney on Dharug country with a population of over 245000 residents Cumberland City Council is the fourth most populous Local Government Area in Greater Sydney. The City Presentation team focuses on managing the daily presentation of the public domain within the Cumberland City Area ensuring that it is maintained and presented so that residents and visitors are proud of the area and it meets their expectations.
In contributing to the overarching vision the Coordinator City Presentation effectively manages and is accountable for the daily presentation and ongoing maintenance of the streetscape and verge mowing within the Cumberland Local Government Area in accordance with the communities expectations.
The successful applicant will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related technical field or management combined extensive relevant senior level experience
- Understanding of operating in high quality service-based environment with a focus on ensuring valuable and quality outcomes for communities
- Proven ability to demonstrate significant work experience and sound knowledge in multiple streetscape operations area such as streetscapes maintenance tree maintenance and the coordination of work crews work programs and equipment scheduling
- Coordinator ability listening co-ordinating motivating prioritising assessing problem solving customer service and teamwork
- Demonstrated experience in the planning and management of substantial budgets with a view to ensuring robust forward planning and effective project delivery
- Computer literacy particularly in the MS Office suite of products
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence.

About this role:
- Permanent full-time position
- 70 hour fortnight
- Access to Councils 9 day fortnight Accrued Day Off (ADO) arrangement
- Located at Councils Auburn and Guildford Depots with frequent travel required across Council worksites and may be required to work across any of Councils work locations
Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 15 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $2604.54 to $2995.22 per week plus 12% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated taking into consideration the successful applicants qualifications skills and experience related to the role
