What Youll Receive

What Youll Do

While attending school youll combine classroom instruction with hands-on experience in our manufacturing facility and shop.

Youll have the opportunity to:

• Work alongside experienced professionals building repairing troubleshooting and testing custom equipment and specialized machinery.
• Assist with mechanical hydraulic electrical machining fabrication or welding projects depending on your field of study.
• Learn industry-leading manufacturing diagnostic and repair techniques.
• Participate in technical training and professional development opportunities.
• Develop safe work habits while following company policies and procedures.
• Represent Ceres professionally at work school and within your community.
• Build the technical skills needed for a successful career in the skilled trades.

What Were Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

• Have earned your high school diploma (or will graduate prior to program start).
• Plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in an approved Diesel Technology Welding Machining Construction Equipment Agricultural Equipment or related skilled trades program.
• Have strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through school hobbies work experience or personal projects.
• Enjoy solving problems and working with your hands.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Have a strong attendance record and positive attitude.
• Are committed to maintaining a safe clean work environment.
• Have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Intend to pursue a long-term career with Ceres after graduation.

Program Expectations

Students selected for the sponsorship program are expected to:

• Maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
• Successfully complete both classroom and workplace learning requirements.
• Demonstrate Ceres core values in school at work and in the community.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
• Make satisfactory progress toward graduation while actively participating in internship opportunities.
