Cook W&J

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team at Willy & Joses. As a Cook you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene. You will work collaboratively with our kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and plating standards
• Maintain a clean organised and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all food safety and health regulations
• Collaborate with head chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards
• Manage inventory and report stock levels as required
• Assist with menu preparation and special dietary requirements
• Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
• Support kitchen operations during peak service times

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a professional kitchen environment
• Proficiency in food preparation techniques and knowledge of various cooking methods
• Strong understanding of food safety hygiene regulations and health and safety standards
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from senior kitchen staff
• Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment during peak service times
