CAPSLO is looking for a Cook to help provide nutritious meals for our childcare programs ensuring that the food service operation runs smoothly and effectively. This is more than just a job; its an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of individuals and families in our were looking for in the ideal candidate:A combination of two years of experience in institutional or commercial food services and/or culinary science cooking for large dependable insured transportation and valid California Drivers License (mileage to be reimbursed) and acceptable driving record. A DMV printout and proof of insurance will be a Cook you will:Assist the Food Production Supervisor in preparingbreakfast lunch and snacks according to Child and Adult Care Food Program create test and standardize recipes that meet nutritional and deliver food to multiple centers maintaining high standards for food quality and inventory by receiving and storing food service supplies detailed records of deliveries equipment maintenance and a clean sanitary kitchen environment and ensure thorough cleanup after meal part of shift transport food to childcare centers in agency vehicles and communicate with staff about note this job advertisement is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
