Responsibilities:

• Smiles provides exceptional customer service and always treats guests and coworkers with respect.
• Participate regularly in departmental and company meetings.
• Follows recipes and internal standards to produce batch recipes and menu items for service.
• Properly operates cleans and maintains kitchen equipment to ensure longevity and desired results are achieved.
• Strong organizational skill works clean and in a safe and sanitary manner at all times.
• Ability to adjust to guests needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Must abide by all health department rules/regulations. Understands time and temperature controls and has a working knowledge of food safety.
• Knowledgeable in the products the company serves.
• Sets and keeps workstation and the surrounding areas properly stocked clean safe and organized.
• Communicates all guest service opportunities quality issues and product shortages to management.
• Must proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage resources.
• Follows the companys attendance policy as well as other rules and regulations set forth in the handbook.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 year Prep Cook experience in a fast-paced environment required
• Food Handler Certification required
• High School Diploma/GED required

Working Environment & Physical Efforts

• The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation.
• This position will primarily be indoor under controlled temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
• Frequent: standing walking with repetitive movement of fingers legs arms and hands
• Occasional: sitting kneeling reaching pulling pushing and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Speech and Vision abilities are required

Target Salary Rate: $17.00 per hour
