Opportunity

Responsible for preparing food products that represent the standards for all restaurants banquets and a la carte services with quality consistency and surroundings in mind.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Have anadvanceunderstanding of the development of checklist systemsofmanaging production.
Be able to develop them for problem solving when necessary.
Havean advancedknowledge of restaurant and banquet buffet service ala carte serviceand plated banquet service.
Develop daily specials that contribute to the development of our food program and new menus keeping trends and innovation in mind.
Demonstrate leadership in your workgroup andlead the kitchen in the absence of thedepartmentchefand/or sous chef.
Aid in directing BOH service via running expo line being a liaison between FOH and BOH communications and supporting daily line-ups in absence of management/chef.
Assistingin trainingofCook Is Cook IIs and Cook IIIs in culinary skill set safety and sanitation practices.

This is a full-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 6:00am and 11:00pm.

Skills/Requirements

5yearsculinary experience recommended.
Completion of asupervisory training course.
Basic Pastry skills recommended.
Knowledge of food waste management andrepurposingof products.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $24.75 - $37.15. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidates education and work location.
