Do you enjoy creating nutritious delicious meals and making a positive impact on the lives of others We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team in Greeley Colorado. In this role youll help provide daily meals and snacks for youth and staff in a mission-driven therapeutic environment where food plays an important role in creating comfort community and connection.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines.
  • Ensure food is prepared stored and served safely while maintaining sanitation standards.
  • Assist with menu execution food inventory ordering and stock rotation.
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions allergies and special meal requests as needed.
  • Maintain a clean organized and compliant kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming dining experience for students and staff.
  • Follow all local state and company health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Age:21 years of age or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelors in human services psychology criminal justice or minimum of 2 years experience working in Human Services.
  • Skills: in preparation of a variety of foods presentation problem-solving and cleanliness
  • Experience:Min of 2 years experience in food service meal preparation or commercial kitchen settings preferred.
  • Certifications: Food Handlers Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) preferred.
  • Background Checks:Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Colorado state laws.
