Job Summary
Columbus Country Club located in Columbus OH is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen walk-in coolers and storage rooms
- Assist with stocking and rotation of inventory upon arrival and ensure invoice accuracy
- Prepare menu items in accordance with established standards and specifications
- Support and uphold the Food and Beverage vision by fostering respect warmth friendliness and pride
- Represent the club in a professional manner and promote a positive image to guests and staff
- Always operate in a safe manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certificates/Licenses:
- Food handlers certification
- Local health and alcohol awareness certification
Job Knowledge Skills and Ability Preferences:
- Basic cooking skills
- Sauté and broiler experience
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds overhead
- Frequent bending turning kneeling and stooping
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures fumes and exhaust
- Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner
- Repetitive motion required in food preparation
- Must stand for extended periods
- Normal vision and hearing required
