As a Cook youll prepare meals that meet the nutritional needs and personal preferences of our residents while maintaining high standards of quality safety and presentation. Youll work in a supportive team-oriented environment where your creativity and passion for food will make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus dietary restrictions and portion control guidelines.

• Ensure meals are served attractively on time and at appropriate temperatures.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Monitor and properly store food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.

• Collaborate with the dietary team to accommodate special dietary needs and resident preferences.

• Assist with inventory management ordering supplies and rotating stock as needed.

• Build positive relationships with residents by incorporating feedback into menu planning.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Prior cooking experience in senior living healthcare hospitality or a related setting preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of safe food handling sanitation and kitchen operations.

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and meal plans while maintaining quality and consistency.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
