Job Summary:
Performs semiskilled work operating a variety of equipment and operations to include packaging of roll material from winder. Operating equipment controls for loading/unloading rolls safely for packing and winding/rewinding of finished product. Preparing samples of finished product; printing and labeling material to be sent to customers.
Essential Functions:
- Performthedutyofpackagingrollsasitisproducedonthemachineperworkorderinstructions.
- Mustbeabletoperformsomelifting(<50lbs.).
- missing material is found.
- Performsmachineset-upsaccordingtostandardproceduresorworkorderplansprovidedby supervisor.
- Checksoperating controlsandsafetystopsonequipmentpriortooperatingequipment.
- Musthavelegiblehandwritingskills.
- Maintainsacleanandsafeworkingenvironmentinlinewithcompany policies.
- Reviews work order Idrawingsandresolvesconflicts.
- Producesandpacksmanufacturedproductperworkorderinstructionsduringshift.
- Mustbeabletounderstandandcarryoutroutineoralandwritteninstructions.
- Mustbeabletomaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswithotheremployees.
- Must maintain lift cart certification.
- Notifiessupervisorormanagerofanypotentialsafetyhazards.
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Details:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
1st shift 7AM - 3:30PM OFF Sunday/Monday
Pay rate: $20.25/hr.
