Job Summary
ECM Holding Group Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Controls Technician in Maryland to join our team. This position requires 100% travel around the country.
Installs maintains and calibrates equipment and appurtenances necessary to maintain constant and
comfortable temperatures humidity and ventilation within buildings with an emphasis on energy
conservation as it relates to this equipment including other duties as assigned. This position requires physical stamina a willingness to learn and strong attention to detail. This is a dynamic role that requires extensive travel to various job sites often involving both driving company vehicles and air travel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including:
- System programming
- Installation
- Maintains an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results.
- Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project as directed by supervisor
- Ensures proper execution of warranty.
- Other various installations may be necessary
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school education or equivalent.
- Two-year degree or certification from college/trade school for electronic controls or related field.
- Minimum three to five years experience
- Valid driver licenses required.
- OSHA 10 if not certified must be completed within 30 days of hire date
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to get the proper equipment or company vehicles to and from job sites
- Ability to work independently on a job site
- Blueprint Interpretation: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately visualize and implement complex control systems.
- Electrical and Electronic Troubleshooting: Expert ability in electrical and electronic troubleshooting including testing circuits replacing fusesnd breakers and diagnosing system-level faults.
- System Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of electrical wiring principles control circuits and the operation of building automation components.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to effectively identify and resolve technical issues.
Physical Demands
Must be able to spend time bending or twisting the body
Must be able to spend time climbing ladders scaffolds or poles
Must be able to Spend time keeping or regaining balance
Must be able to spend time kneeling crouching stooping or crawling
Must be able to spend time making repetitive motions
Must be able to spend time standing
Must be able to spend time using your hands to handle control or feel objects tools or controls
Wearing personal protective gear correctly including glasses gloves respirator hard hat and other PPE required.

Compensation Range: $20.00 - $26.00/ hr.
