Controls Engineer Maintenance Technician Bolingbrook, IL 48hr

Location: Bolingbrook IL (On-site)

Compensation: $48/hour contract position

Join a fast-paced manufacturing floor as the go-to Controls Engineer / Maintenance Technician keeping automation robotics and controls systems running at full speed.

What Youll Own:

- Troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley PLC systems interpreting ladder logic and electrical schematics for fast diagnostics

- Support and modify HMI programs and troubleshoot servo systems motion control and CNC equipment

- Troubleshoot Fanuc robots and assist with basic programming adjustments

- Respond to equipment downtime events diagnosing root causes and restoring production quickly and safely

- Execute preventive maintenance and document findings and corrective actions in CMMS

- Follow OSHA NFPA arc flash and LOTO procedures to maintain a safe floor environment

What Youll Bring:

- 3-5 years of industrial controls or electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment

- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs ladder logic HMIs servo systems motion control and CNC machinery

- Experience troubleshooting Fanuc robots

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Nice to Have:

- Experience integrating or modifying PLC programs including Safety PLC troubleshooting

- Exposure to vision systems CNC programming or CMMS platforms

- Mechatronics Electrical Technology or related technical training
