The Role
We are currently seekingaLevel 1Control Systems Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of advanced industrial control systems (PLC SCADA EMPS) that enable safe reliable and efficient energy operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to build strong technical foundations in industrial automation. You will support the design development implementation and maintenance of control systems while working alongside experienced engineers. The role offers hands-on involvement in project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on learning and development.
Youllbe part of a collaborative team delivering impactful projects in a dynamic and evolving energy environment.
Location & Travel
This is a RemoteorHybrid position. Expected travel up to60% for site visitsto meet role requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistin developing and designingcontrol system solutions for defined scopes.
- Contribute to thereviewofdesign documentation (e.g. FDS control narratives I/O lists).
- Supportcommissioning activities for defined systems or project scopes.
- Support project delivery across all phases including design implementation testing and handover.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration with operational systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards safety requirements and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in EngineeringMechatronics Control Systems or related discipline.
- UnderstandingofPLC/SCADA/DCS systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs.
- Exposure to programming (any language; PLC exposureadvantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
