Controls Engineer Allen-Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000 Logix Designer.

Core skills and experience:

• Experience programming PLC-based control systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000 / Logix Designer.
• Experience developing HMI applications.
• Experience with FactoryTalk Optix or strong Rockwell HMI experience with the ability and willingness to learn Optix.
• Familiarity with electrical controls sensors I/O and instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Understanding of PLC programming concepts such as sequencing interlocks alarms fault handling analog signals and data handling.
• Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with electrical mechanical and other technical team members.
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently when needed.
• Willingness to occasionally travel for customer support and equipment commissioning.
• Ability to commute to our Pontiac MI facility on a daily basis.
