Job Summary

As Derivatives Product Line Controller within Goldman Sachs you will specialize in derivatives products and report production for external filings. Your responsibilities will encompass managing data from various sources to its final use for reporting while ensuring controls and reviews are executed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of derivatives related regulatory and U.S. GAAP external disclosures including certain areas of theSEC 10Q/K FR Y-9C Bank Call Report FR Y-15 FR 2510 etc.
  • Document and perform control procedures such as reconciliations and variance analytics
  • Partner with stakeholders across the firm such as Product Controllers Financial Reporting Legal Entity Controllers and Risk
  • Participate in various derivatives related projects focused on automation / workflow enhancements
  • Perform ad hoc analyses for internal and external reporting purposes

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience; strong accounting background preferred
  • Strong analytical / interpersonal skills and a high proficiency with Microsoft software applications
  • Must possess strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Must demonstrate considerable energy focus drive and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks operate within deadlines and escalate when appropriate
  • Well-versed in US GAAP accounting and SEC reporting standards
  • SEC / Federal Reserve regulatory reporting experience a plus
