Job Description
Lead all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger AP AR payroll billing and fixed assets.
Manage month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes with accurate financial reporting.
Prepare financial statements executive dashboards budgets forecasts and variance analyses.
Partner with Project Managers to monitor project performance profitability budgets and financial risks.
Manage cash flow forecasting banking relationships working capital and treasury activities.
Oversee billing collections accounts receivable and cash management.
Strengthen internal controls accounting policies and financial compliance.
Coordinate audits tax filings insurance bonding and regulatory reporting.
Improve accounting systems financial reporting and operational processes.
Recruit mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative high-performing team.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
Minimum 1 year of construction or mechanical contracting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting budgeting forecasting and internal controls.
Experience with job costing and WIP reporting preferred.
Experience with Sage Timberline/Sage 300 CRE or similar construction accounting software preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
Strong leadership communication analytical and organizational skills.
