This role is ideal for someone who has worked across multiple entities and locations ideally within industries like nursing homes home care or real estate. Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities and locations
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate general ledger and ensure proper account reconciliations
Financial Reporting
- Generate financial statements for multiple entities
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Ensure accuracy and compliance across consolidated and entity-level reporting
- Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls across all entities and locations
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Support audits and work with external accountants/auditors as needed
Team & Process Management
- Conduct interviews and oversee hiring for accounting staff
- Oversee and mentor accounting staff
- Improve and streamline accounting processes across a multi-entity structure
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a multi-entity multi-location company
- Background in a complex industry such as nursing homes home care or real estate preferred
- CPA a big plus
- Must be local to or willing to work in Monsey NY
- Self-starter with a strong hustle-driven work ethic
