Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities and locations
• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate general ledger and ensure proper account reconciliations

Financial Reporting

• Generate financial statements for multiple entities
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across consolidated and entity-level reporting
• Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Maintain strong internal controls across all entities and locations
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Support audits and work with external accountants/auditors as needed

Team & Process Management

• Conduct interviews and oversee hiring for accounting staff
• Oversee and mentor accounting staff
• Improve and streamline accounting processes across a multi-entity structure

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a multi-entity multi-location company
• Background in a complex industry such as nursing homes home care or real estate preferred
• CPA a big plus
• Must be local to or willing to work in Monsey NY
• Self-starter with a strong hustle-driven work ethic
