Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to provide strategic financial leadership and drive the overall financial success of the organization. This role plays a critical role in guiding financial decisions ensuring financial compliance and managing a team through a monthly financial close process.
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director this individual plays an integral role in a fast-growing organization while providing strategic financial guidance and support to the local leadership team.
The successful candidate will develop and implement financial strategies plans and budgets in alignment with the companys overall goals and objectives. The candidate will oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements reports and forecasts including segment-based financial reporting.

Business Unit Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies plans and budgets in alignment with the companys overall goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making including cost analysis revenue forecasting and scenario planning.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial guidance and formalized structure for capital expenditures.
Team Leadership
- Build lead and develop a high-performing finance and accounting organization.
- Create a culture focused on customer service accountability and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintains the currency hedging program and measures effectiveness with a commercial mindset
- Manage control processes including set-up of new customers and suppliers and commissions payments.
- Oversee AR and AP functions and ensure timely collection payment posting and follow-up activities.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements reports and forecasts including segment-based financial reporting.

- Financial and Managerial Accounting expertise.
- Strong financial controls knowledge.
- Project and change management experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven decision-making.
- Process improvement and automation expertise.
- Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of ownership curiosity and accountability.
Education & Experience Preferred
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field. MBA and/or CPA is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior finance role preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations accounting principles and financial management best practices. Expertise in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with SyteLine ERP a plus.
