What Youll Do

As Controller youll oversee the organizations accounting operations while ensuring accurate financial reporting strong internal controls and efficient financial processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead all day-to-day accounting operations including General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable/Billing Payroll and Job Cost Accounting.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Oversee multi-entity reporting and financial consolidations.
• Forecast cash flow and provide financial insights to executive leadership.
• Ensure timely billing collections and vendor payments.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial analyses.
• Coordinate annual financial statement audits with external auditors.
• Support tax reporting and statutory compliance requirements.
• Oversee payroll tax reporting and related compliance activities.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and financial processes.
• Partner with leadership on special projects and operational initiatives.
• Develop mentor and cross-train accounting staff to build organizational depth and continuity.

What Were Looking For

The successful candidate will bring a combination of strong technical accounting expertise and proven leadership experience.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting.
• CPA required.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership responsibilities.
• Public accounting audit experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Experience preparing financial statements and managing the month-end close process.
• Multi-entity accounting experience is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV Sage Intacct or comparable ERP systems is a plus.
