We are seeking a multifaceted proactive individual who is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions!

What will I be doing

  • Will be responsible for communications and all alarm systems
  • Coordinates maintenance of new and existing life safety and security equipment to maintain the highest standards of Loss Prevention.
  • Uses a moderately sophisticated console to receive calls from guests vendors and team members etc. requiring assistance and dispatches Safety & Security team members to resolve situations.
  • Appropriately details all emergencies and maintains logs of all requests.
  • Accurately handles all incoming urgent matters or emergencies for the guests and hotel. Works with hotel management and/or Emergency Response personnel in order to calmly complete appropriate action.
  • Assists guests that contact the desk to request assistance or ask a question. Makes service request calls to a variety of hotel departments.
  • Coordinates all alarm panels and is leading all aspects of alarm monitoring and response as per SPIs.
  • Calls for repair or maintenance of all security related equipment.
  • Coordinates the notification of appropriate departments in the case of an emergency guest service request or any other situation which requires dispatching of personnel to resolve or assist with the problem.
  • Carries out reasonable requests of management; willing to pitch-in and help co- workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate.
  • Provides outstanding guest/owner service at all times including answering inquiries leading other employees providing direction and information for general problem solving.

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience handling multi-phones lines and/or dispatching required.
  • Previous computer experience in MS Office Products to include MS Word and Outlook.
  • Have 3 years of related work experience required.
  • Have open availability to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends and holidays.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous hotel/hospitality industry experience.
  • Have or acquire an Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card and Non-Gaming Sheriffs card upon offer for hire.
  • Complete CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire.
