Job Title: Contracts Specialist
Job Location: Melville NY (100% onsite)
Salary: $75000-$100000/yr DOE
- Review proposed contracts to ensure that the price delivery schedule specifications terms and conditions are consistent with the quotation submitted.
- Maintain and reconcile backlogs bookings and sales reports.
- Maintain Salesforce reconciling to bookings reports.
- Maintain customer supplier and sales rep database in ERP system.
- Maintain and monitor customer supplier portals updating annuals Certs and Reps invoicing obtaining new purchase orders and requests for quotations.
- Assist with close-out of contracts including the final billing and retentions or disposition of customer furnished material. Makes final review and submission of required forms to ensure that all requirements
- Routinely interfaces with other business functions to assist with license requirements planning and addresses daily operations issues/questions
- Process all export shipping documents at time of shipment to ensure compliance; customs invoice review packing lists create shippers Letter of with freight forwarders/customers to arrange the shipment. Coordinate pickup dates to meet our monthly sales requirements.
- Supports FSO with visitor request processing. Screen names in Visual Compliance update visitor log and report findings for final FSO approval.
- 5 years contracts admin experience in defense manufacturing
- Familiarity of FAR and DFAR regulations and of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)
- Microsoft Office proficiency required
- CostPoint and Salesforce experience a plus
