We areseekinga highly motivated Research Associate with a focus on Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to our efforts inpharmacokineticsscreening plasma protein binding and microsomal assays.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment supporting the development ofcutting-edgetherapies for cardiovascular and skeletal muscle disorders.
Responsibilities:
Bioanalysis:plasmaand tissue processing/analysis todeterminethe drug concentrationusing theSciexLC/MS-MS.
Plasma Protein Binding Studies: Conduct experiments todeterminethe binding affinity ofcompounds to plasma proteins usingSciexLC/MS-MS
Microsomal Assays:Perform microsomal stability studies to assessthe metabolicstability andrun the assay using theSciexLC/MS-MS
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze experimental data usingappropriate software(WNL)andstatistical methods and provide clear and concise summaries of findings to support decision-making.
Documentation and Reporting:Maintaindetailed records of experimental procedures resultsand observations in laboratory notebooks and electronic databases. Prepare technical reportsand presentations for internal meetings and regulatory submissions.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including medicinal
chemistry pharmacology and toxicology to support drug discovery and development projects.
Lab Maintenance:Ensure proper maintenance and organization of laboratory equipmentreagents and supplies. Adhere to safety protocols andmaintaina clean and safe workingenvironment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors with 3 to 5 years of experience or Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences Chemistry Biochemistry or a related field with 2 to 4 years.
Hands-on experience with DMPK assays including screening plasma protein binding and microsomal assays are preferred but not required.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to critically evaluate and interpret experimental data.

Pay Range:
In the U.S. the hiring pay range for fully qualified candidates is $54.30-$63.35 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors.Our employees come from different backgrounds and we celebrate those differences.
