Job Description
This position supports the legal department and includes contract lifecycle management contract drafting review and negotiation contract research cross functional collaboration on a variety of contracts and risk management.
Draft edit negotiate and administer contracts to facilitate company objectives and goals
Ability to work on a variety of contracts including NDAs consulting agreements services agreements SOWs purchase orders supply agreements research agreements vendor agreements commercial contract terms and conditions quality agreements software licensing clinical and preclinical trial agreements and other transactional agreements as needed
Ensure contract compliance with company policies and regulations
Collaborate with internal teams across functions and stakeholders to provide contract support maintain operational consistency and align contract terms with business objectives legal standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance on contract interpretation and potential risks to support decision making
Identify contract risks gaps or inconsistencies and provide clear recommendations to resolve them
Maintain organize and work through a queue of contracts efficiently
Maintain and manage an accurate comprehensive organized contract filing system
Monitor and coordinate contract lifecycle activities including amendments renewals and terminations.
Maintain accurate records monitor performance and resolve issues throughout the contract lifecycle.
Support contract strategy and process improvements including establishment of best practices template updates and system or policy enhancements
Familiarity with open-source licenses
Familiarity with digital data and privacy agreements.

Knowledge and skills
4-6 years minimum relevant/transferable work experience; Contract review/analyst paralegal experience a plus
Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
General knowledge of contract management and related processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels and collaboration skills in a variety of settings
Strong attention to detail with draft and review experience
Strategic and analytical problem solver with business acumen.
Strong prioritization skills and ability to work independently
Track record of working cross-functionally to achieve organization goals while showcasing prioritization skills
Experience using Document Management Systems and comfortable learning/utilizing new contract-related applications and tools
Proficiency in MS Word (including Track Changes and document compare) required.
Proficiency in Excel Outlook Teams and Google Documents
Medical device or MedTech experience a plus
Patent or Trademark experience a plus
