Duties:

Contractor Commercial Manager will have responsibility for overseeing all day-to-day commercial and contractual aspects of the contract ensuring compliance cost control and value delivery for both the client and company.

• Manage budgets forecasts invoices and cost reporting to ensure accurate financial performance tracking.
• Prepare price and negotiate Contract variations and scope changes in accordance with State procedures.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Prepare commercial reports performance summaries and audit documentation as requested by the Operational Governance Committee or Contract Participating Entity.
• Ensure adherence to internal approvals and contribute to process and cost efficiency improvements.
• Lead recommendations and planning procurement and delivery of capital refurbishment and small construction projects: define scope develop schedules manage budgets and ensure quality/closeout documentation.
• Traveling between Nashville and Memphis for client projects and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Engineering (civil/mechanical/electrical) Construction Management or related field.
• 58 years progressive experience in public sector facilities management construction/project management or maintenance operations; experience with transportation/toll operations or government/public-sector assets preferred.
• Proven experience managing mobile maintenance teams and occupied/operational sites.
• Ownership mindset: demonstrated bias for action and accountability comfortable making decisions following through and driving results in a 24/7 operational environment.
