Continuous Improvement Engineer

Position Summary:
Lead data-driven initiatives to improve quality yield productivity throughput and cost across manufacturing operations. Work with Operations Quality Engineering and Maintenance to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Lean/continuous improvement projects and Kaizen activities.
• Analyze production data scrap rework downtime and cycle time.
• Perform root cause analysis using 5 Whys 8D Pareto and Fishbone.
• Improve processes workflow yield and production efficiency.
• Develop standard work process controls and performance metrics.
• Support 5S value-stream mapping waste reduction and process optimization.
• Train teams on Lean tools and problem-solving methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Manufacturing Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 23 years of continuous improvement manufacturing quality or process engineering experience.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma and root-cause analysis knowledge.
• Experience with SPC PFMEA control plans and corrective action.
• Strong Excel/data analysis skills; Power BI or ERP/MES experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience required; process-intensive manufacturing preferred.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
