DESCRIPTION:
Join our team as a PPI Business System Specialist III and contribute to continuous improvement across Thermo Fisher Scientific. Youll implement our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System to enhance operational excellence improve efficiency and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Working with site leadership and cross-functional teams youll facilitate Kaizen events guide process improvement initiatives and support a culture of continuous improvement that enables our employees to develop better processes. Youll help achieve significant results in quality productivity and customer satisfaction while supporting our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience or Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing laboratory or regulated environment
Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering Science Business Operations or related field
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required Black Belt preferred
Additional certifications in Project Management or Process Improvement methodologies beneficial
Demonstrated expertise in lean methodologies including value stream mapping 5S standard work and Kaizen facilitation
Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead multiple cross-functional improvement projects
Advanced proficiency in data analysis problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work effectively at all organizational levels
Experience developing and delivering lean training programs and mentoring teams
Demonstrated success achieving measurable results through process improvements
Strong financial acumen and ability to validate project savings with Finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with PowerBI Minitab or similar tools preferred
Ability to work independently while collaborating across matrix organization
Excellent change management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Experience in cGMP/regulated environment preferred
