Leidos is seeking a Senior Life Cycle Manager to support cutting-edge engineering efforts within the Undersea Systems Division (USD). This role is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in remote vehicle systems and maritime sensors that support critical defense and national security missions.

Youll support a multidisciplinary project team developing advanced maritime technologies in a part-time consulting basis.

What Youll Do

• Lead the development and implementation of life cycle product support and logistical strategies frameworks and best practices for key technologies Leidos is developing
• Provide subject matter expertise in reliability maintainability and total cost of ownership analysis
• Support cross-functional teams in integrating life cycle considerations into design development and operations
• Conduct assessments of current product development and support processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and sustainability
• Guide root cause analysis failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) efforts
• Teach leads and engineering team members how to build internal life cycle engineering capability for long-term product support and sustainment.
• Support and guide the development of documentation standards and training materials to support long-term adoption of best practices

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years of experience in logistics supply chain and product support with a strong focus on life cycle sustainment for Navy systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in logistics planning reliability analysis asset management and product/system life cycle methodologies
• Deep knowledge of government and industry standards and tools related to life-cycle support training documentation and repair
• Strong analytical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Experience mentoring and developing cross-disciplined technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the US Navy programs contracts and mission requirements

Training sessions and knowledge transfer to internal team members
