The job
The SeniorPresalesConsultantfor Value Chain Optimizationisa key role in contributing to the growth of the AVEVAApplicationsand Operations business within theAmericasregion providing outstanding Technicaland BusinessSales and consultancyengagementfor AVEVA solutions and/or other supported client software. This position will require travel at times with short notice to an AVEVA office distribution channel office or customer location anywhere in the region. The job holder will be assigned a Subject Matter Expert role in theValue Chain Optimization& Operationssolution domain.
Key responsibilities
Enableand drivesales growth through the AVEVAValue Chain Optimizationportfoliowith a focus onHydrocarbon Supply Chain Process Optimization and Production Accounting.
Communicate the value proposition of our solutions to prospects or partners at presentations industryeventsandseminars.
Contribute to the planning creationdevelopmentand delivery of demonstrations that prove the value of oursolutions.
Engagewith prospectsthrough a consultative approach using standard AVEVASales methodologiesto understand specific needs/problemsand lead/contribute to the development ofappropriate technicalbusiness solutions.
Contributeto the planning creation organizing and execution of Proof of Capability presentations and demonstrations to prospects that prove and confirm the value of our technical solution to their specific needs/problems.
Work alone or withteamsto develop and present demosolution platforms.
Essential requirements
MinimumBachelorsdegree in a relevant engineering disciplinewith8 years experience withValue Chain Optimizationand Operations industrial solutions including but not limited toSupply Chain Planning & Scheduling(experience in implementation of both Planning and Scheduling solutions preferred)Process Simulation & Optimization Real-Time Optimization & Production Accounting.Understanding and experience withAdvanced Process ControlsandTank Managementare also considerations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills able toestablisha trusted rapport with both customers highly developed interpersonal skills lucid communicator excellent writing skills
Exposure to project delivery
Expertconsultative and complex portfolio selling
Builds working relationships with peers and with members of other teams
Great problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate the needs/problems of prospective customers
The ability to effectively self-manage and handle multiple andpossibly competingcommitments simultaneously
