About the Role

Join Northern Trusts Integrated Portfolio Services (IPS) team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to hedge fund and alternative investment clients. As a Consultant Investor Services you will support critical investor lifecycle activities including subscriptions redemptions investor reporting AML/KYC reviews and client servicing. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented financial services professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced client-focused environment and wants to develop deep expertise within alternative investments.

Major Duties:

• Review and process investor subscription documentation ensuring compliance with regulatory and fund requirements.
• Manage investor transactions including subscriptions redemptions transfers and capital activity reporting.
• Complete AML KYC and client verification reviews in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and issue investor statements trade confirmations and other investor reporting.
• Maintain investor records share registers and subscription bank account information.
• Partner with fund managers investors and internal teams to resolve inquiries and operational issues.
• Assist with investor audit requests and ongoing due diligence activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert within Investor Services and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the client experience.
• Handle complex client and operational matters with significant business impact.

Knowledge:

• Experience in Investor Services Fund Administration Transfer Agency Client Services AML/KYC Operations or a related financial services function.
• Strong understanding of investor onboarding subscriptions redemptions and investor servicing activities.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptable collaborative and committed to delivering exceptional client service.
• Proficiency with financial services systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a related field.
• Relevant industry experience within hedge funds asset servicing alternative investments private markets or fund administration.
• Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA CFA or equivalent) are a plus.
