Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
As Project Scheduler you will be assigned to support a portfolio of Justice Sector construction projects. Our Project Schedulers will have solid experience supporting design-bid-build and/or design build construction delivery in a team-oriented environment. As a Vanir employee you will be a vital member solving complex operational and project controls issues with a maintained focus on customer satisfaction. (ON-SITE Not hybrid or remote)
- Perform highly complex construction scheduling activities and provide technical direction to the staff engaged in planning scheduling monitoring progress analysis and reporting
- Reviews CPM schedules to verify compliance with project constraints milestone dates reasonableness of durations and sequence accurate inter-relationships and completeness of project scope
- Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships logic milestones and constraints for various programs.
- Continued involvement in the project and analyzes time extension requests identify problem areas and create and update schedules as needed to ensure timely project completion
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in construction management architecture engineering or related degree is required.
- 3 years of experience in Program Scheduling preferably in public works projects.
- Prior experience developing program schedules and performing critical path earned value and schedule impact analysis is preferred.
- Demonstrated comprehensive analysis skills including resource loading cost loading analyses of change orders time extension requests and schedule impact analyses.
- Must be able to manage the program schedule and update process while collaborating with internal and external clients.
- Strong communication presentation writing and computer skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Primavera Project Management (5.0 or 6.1) Primavera Project Planner(P6) and Microsoft Project
- Experience with Design-Build and Progressive Design-Build schedules and project delivery preferred.
- Experience in using SQL to retrieve data from various data sets is also preferred.
