The Opportunity:
Legacy Professional Services is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on hyperscale data center construction projects from mobilization through final turnover.
In this role youll provide day-to-day leadership for all on-site construction activities overseeing subcontractors coordinating multiple trades and ensuring work is completed safely efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and client requirements. Working closely with project management MEP teams commissioning specialists and client representatives youll play a critical role in delivering complex mission-critical facilities on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

What Youll Do:
- Lead daily field operations for hyperscale data center construction projects from mobilization through project closeout.
- Direct and coordinate subcontractors across civil structural architectural mechanical electrical plumbing and specialty trades.
- Foster a strong culture of safety quality accountability and teamwork across the jobsite.
- Supervise Assistant Superintendents Field Engineers and trade supervision while providing leadership and mentorship.
- Manage project schedules by coordinating work sequencing look-ahead planning phased turnovers and critical milestone execution.
- Coordinate closely with MEP teams and commissioning personnel to support system installation testing integrated systems testing (IST) and owner turnover.
- Lead quality inspections resolve field issues and ensure all work complies with project specifications approved submittals and client standards.
- Oversee site logistics material deliveries access control laydown areas and jobsite operations to maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate daily reports manpower tracking progress documentation and communication with project leadership.
- Lead punch-list completion final inspections project closeout and owner handover activities.
Requirements
What Were Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field or equivalent industry experience.
- Eight or more years of commercial construction experience with progressively increasing field leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience leading field operations on large-scale commercial industrial mission-critical or hyperscale data center construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing MEP coordination commissioning processes and phased project turnover.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications schedules and technical documentation.
- Experience managing subcontractors field personnel and multiple concurrent scopes of work.
- Strong leadership communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore BIM 360 and Bluebeam.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading hyperscale data center advanced manufacturing semiconductor pharmaceutical or other mission-critical construction projects.
- Experience supporting integrated systems testing (IST) commissioning and owner turnover.
- Familiarity with fast-track construction delivery methods and pull-planning processes.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
