A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Construction Site Manager - Conveyor & Material Handling Systems
Position type: Full time Contract to Hire
Duration: 12-Month Contract to Hire

As a Construction Site Manager Material Handling & Conveyor Systems you will:
- Lead daily field operations for conveyor and material handling equipment installation projects.
- Supervise construction crews tradespeople subcontractors and installation teams.
- Coordinate project schedules manpower requirements subcontractor activities and material deliveries.
- Read and interpret construction drawings blueprints layouts specifications and installation documents.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and identify potential installation conflicts or project risks.
- Track project progress and maintain accurate daily reports field documentation and installation records.
- Utilize project management and reporting tools such as Procore CRM platforms and other construction software.
- Coordinate equipment orders material procurement and onsite logistics.
- Assist with invoice review and approval processes.
- Support equipment startup testing troubleshooting and commissioning activities.
- Track project budgets costs and resource utilization.
- Facilitate project meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Promote and enforce all site safety policies and procedures.
- Resolve field-related issues involving equipment materials labor drawings and installation requirements.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong construction background experience leading field teams subcontractors and installation activities and the ability to manage project documentation schedules budgets and reporting systems.
- Experience supporting conveyor systems material handling equipment distribution centers automated warehouses airport baggage systems or industrial mechanical installations is highly preferred.
- This is a hands-on field leadership position requiring 100% onsite project support.
Required Qualifications:
This role is ideal for construction professionals who have progressed into leadership positions such as Foreman General Foreman Superintendent Site Manager or Construction Project Manager and are looking to continue growing their careers.
- 3 years of construction leadership experience as a:
- Foreman
- General Foreman
- Assistant Superintendent
- Superintendent
- Site Manager
- Construction Project Manager
- General Contractor or Specialty Subcontractor Leader
- Strong background in construction industrial installation mechanical installation conveyor systems or material handling systems.
- Strong background in Conveyor installation/material handling systems
- Experience leading field crews and coordinating subcontractors on active construction sites.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings blueprints and technical documentation.
- Experience using project tracking construction management CRM or reporting software.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office email communication reporting tools and virtual meeting platforms.
- Experience documenting field activities tracking progress and maintaining project records.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a desire to continue advancing within construction management.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in a fast-paced construction environment.
Not Required but Preferred Qualifications:
- Airport baggage handling system installation experience.
- Automated warehouse or distribution center construction experience.
- Experience using Procore
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with commissioning startup or operational readiness activities.
- Construction Management Engineering Industrial Technology or related education.
Travel Requirements:
- Candidates residing in the immediate hiring locations will primarily support projects within their assigned market. All candidates should be open to significant travel throughout the United States as project needs evolve. Construction professionals who are accustomed to traveling to active project sites are strongly encouraged to apply.
- For candidates outside the designated project areas travel may consist of:
- Flying into project locations and working onsite Monday through Friday
- Returning home on weekends or every other weekend
- Extended project assignments based on business needs

Pay Range*: $110K - $130 per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
