Construction Project Manager

As a Project Manager you will oversee construction projects ranging from $500000 to $50 million ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance. Partnering with superintendents you will manage all aspects of the project to ensure seamless operations and successful outcomes. What Youll Do:

• Prioritize safe work planning and partner with site safety leaders to identify and correct hazards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and lead consistent owners coordination and reporting meetings
• Establish and maintain the project plan and schedule setting objectives and performance standards and monitoring compliance
• Prioritize effective and continuous communication across client representatives A-E representatives subcontractors and internal teams
• Manage financial aspects of the project including projections invoice processing cash flow profitability self-perform and subcontractor costs and ensure alignment with the budget while avoiding scope gaps
• Ensure compliance with applicable Labor Agreements
• Coordinate and oversee weekly subcontractor meetings
• Estimate price submit and negotiate accurate subcontracts and change orders
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the project aligned with the plan
• Plan and manage effective project closeout ensuring an expeditious and quality handover process

What Youll Bring:

• Ability to communicate professionally verbally and written with the ability to lead teams and resolves conflict
• Self-motivated leader with a passion for mentoring and developing teams
• Highly organized with strong planning and analytic skills attention to detail and expert attention to detail
• An ability to manage all aspects of a project including technical safety schedule cost and financial responsibility
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Microsoft Office Primavera P6 Autodesk Build and Viewpoint Vista software
• Experience in the automotive sector is preferred
• Experience in heavy civil construction is preferred but not required

Experience:

• A Bachelors degree in an Engineering-related field or Construction Management is required
• 7 years of experience in heavy industrial project management
