Construction Materials Testing Department Manager

An outstanding full-time opening has become available in the northern Houston TX area for a local individual with 5 years experience as a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with a background in Construction Materials Testing and Management. This position would earn a base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits a 401K w/ matching Life insurance PTO and other outstanding perks.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

• 5 years of Construction Materials Testing Management experience with a focus on Soils Concrete Asphalt and Steel Testing.
• Experience with proposal writing reviewing and signing CME reports reviewing laboratory test and data is a MUST
• Experience with Geotechnical and Environmental reports (Phase I and Phase II) CME reports etc. is a MUST
• Experience tracking various project/investigation reports conducting site visits and supervising laboratory activities is a MUST
• Experience communicating with clients drillers and managing laboratory/testing staff is a MUST
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas is a MUST
• Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering is a MUST
• Experience with A2LA is a PLUS
