Construction Manager (MI- Garden City)

• Must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance to Garden City MI.
• Relocation is not being considered for this role

Position Summary:

RLM Underground seeks a motivated and experienced Construction Manager in MI. The CM will be responsible for construction sites and employee and crew safety. The CM must be experienced in undergroundand/or aerial telecommunications construction and management. The goal is to ensure that all customer needs are being met.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversees construction sites to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
• Responsible for customer and homeowner relations.
• Assists customers and homeowners with complaints and restoration concerns.
• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved documents and procedures.
• Ensures that the project is completed in a timely efficient and safe manner.
• Lead and direct ground crews daily.
• Develops redline and daily reports.
• Responsible for procurement at job sites including straw seed cutters shovels batteries tarps paint etc.
• Monitors schedule updates.
• Maintains cleanliness of job sites company equipment and vehicles.
• Daily inspections of company vehicles equipment and job sites.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in telecom construction including underground and/or aerial project execution
• Proven supervisory background with responsibility for directing crews and managing large-scale telecom projects
• Strong risk assessment and risk management capabilities with a focus on safety and compliance
• Ability to interpret implement and uphold company policies procedures and project standards
• Effective leadership skills including crew coordination decision-making and accountability
• Clear professional communication skills for interacting with field teams clients and internal stakeholders
