Thalle is currently seeking experienced and motivated candidates to fill multiple Construction Laborer/Operator positions at our project located in Orladndo FL!

Thalle established in 1947 is a heavy civil construction company with a corporate office located in Hillsborough NC and a regional office in Alvarado Texas. Thalle currently has active heavy civil construction projects spanning from New York to South Florida to Texas and continuing to expand our geographical footprint. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload and carry materials at construction sites
• Clean up site from debris and discarded material
• Ability to erect concrete forms and scaffolding preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to mix and Pour Concrete and Asphalt preferred but not mandatory
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment
• Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance
• Must be willing to complete manual labor
• Operate pneumatic hammers vibrators and tampers
• Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism
• Experience placing concrete preferred

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to receive written or oral instructions
• Establish and maintain effective working relationship with field and office personnel
• Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety looking out for yourself and others

Physical Requirements:

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling of materials.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination quick reaction times.
• Able to wear a hard hat safety glasses gloves and safety-toed boots.
• Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards
• Must be able to talk listen and speak clearly on telephone
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
