Construction Laborer – Pipe Layer

Job Title: Construction Laborer - Pipe Layer

Salary:Competitive compensation package based on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Unload and carry materials at construction sites.
Clean up site from debris and discarded material.
Determine presence of obstructions.
Operates hand or power tools.
Dig trenches with trenching tools.
Cover pipes with dirt or other material
Must be willing to complete manual labor.
Operate pneumatic hammers vibrators and tampers.
Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism.
Experience placing concrete preferred.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Ability to receive written or oral instructions.
Establish and maintain effective working relationship with field and office personnel.
Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety looking out for yourself and others.
Basic knowledge of working with concrete pipe.
landfill experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body
such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling of materials.
Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
Must have good hand-eye coordination quick reaction times.
Able to wear a hard hat safety glasses gloves and safety-toed boots.
Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local
standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards
Must be able to talk listen and speak clearly on telephone
Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
