Construction Financial Analyst

WERE HIRING: FINANCIAL ANALYST / ACCOUNTANT

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering with a highly respected commercial construction company to find a Financial Analyst / Accountant to join their team.

This is an analytical position for someone who enjoys digging into the numbers identifying trends and understanding what is actually driving business performance.

WHAT YOULL DO

Analyze financial performance across different business groups
Identify what is driving profitability and margin differences
Review labor material and other project-related costs
Analyze financial data to identify trends opportunities and potential issues
Help leadership understand the story behind the numbers
Provide financial insight that supports better business decisions

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or a related field preferred
Experience in Financial Analysis Accounting Banking Insurance or a similar analytical environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to look beyond the numbers and determine WHY financial results are occurring
Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
Comfortable working with large amounts of financial data

THIS IS A GREAT FIT FOR SOMEONE WHO:

Enjoys asking questions finding the story behind the numbers and figuring out what is really happening within a business.

This is NOT a traditional AR or Controller position. The focus is on financial analysis business performance profitability and identifying opportunities for improvement.
