Position Summary

This is a hands-on full-time position with day-to-day duties that include being responsible for assisting a landscape construction crew of up to 6 members to implement landscape projects.

Salary: $20-24 depending on education and experience.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

• Complete project work with a high level of care and quality. Project work includes but is not limited to installation of hardscape planting material outdoor lighting water features digging trenches sprinkler systems grading backfilling holes and snow removal. May require the building or taking apart bracing scaffolding and temporary structures and more.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills forklifts skid loaders and other tools as directed by management.
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed and remove and properly dispose of debris and waste materials.
• Ensure the safety of the crew and public as work is being done.
• Adjust to changes in the plan and schedule as necessary.
• Maintain and care for company equipment tools and vehicles.
• Attend training classes and seminars as requested by managers.
• Assist with snow removal.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education:High school or equivalent preferred.

Experience:1 year of construction experience preferred.

Specialized Skills

• Must have transportation to multiple jobsites.
• Must be self-motivated possess strong leadership skills and be detail oriented and quality driven.
• Must be professional in appearance and actions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Always represent the companys best interest and maintain the highest level of integrity.

Hours: Hours vary and are dependent on business needs. Weekends may be needed to satisfy the work load.
